Dr Arjuna Nagendran
Consultant Neurophysiologist
Dr Arjuna Nagendran is a consultant clinical neurophysiologist at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and the Queen Square Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases.
He completed his undergraduate training at the University College London medical school in 2011 with specialist training in adult and paediatric neurophysiology and neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He performs neurophysiology for patients within the highly specialised muscle channelopathy service utilising a range of neurophysiological techniques in the assessment of rare muscle and nerve disorders. He also runs clinics for EMG and nerve conduction studies as part of the main neurophysiology department at Queen Square.
His main research interests include skeletal muscle channelopathies, peripheral nerve disorders and nerve hyperexcitability.
