Large Myotonia congenita study published
A new comprehensive study of the genetics of myotonia congenita has just been published in the journal Brain.
The team performed functional analyses of 95 missense variants of skeletal muscle chloride channel ClC-1, and correlated the data with mode of inheritance and clinical phenotype in 223 families with myotonia.
